About the UCP CGPA calculator
University of Central Punjab (UCP) is a private Lahore university with one of Pakistan's most granular 4.0 grading tables — eleven letter bands from A through F with fine plus/minus intervals. UCP business, engineering, and law programmes all reference this structure on transcripts. This calculator locks to UCP's published grade points so you avoid the error of applying public HEC boundaries to private UCP results.

What UCP students should know
UCP runs semester credits with continuous assessment across Lahore's Johar Town campus. Credit loads differ between BBA, CS, and pharm-D tracks — pull numbers from the UCP student portal. UCP grading system
UCP assigns A = 4.00 (90–100), A- = 3.67 (86–89), B+ = 3.33 (81–85), stepping down to D = 1.00 (50–53), and F = 0.00 below 50%. The narrow bands between B- (2.67) and C+ (2.33) mean small exam differences shift semester GPA noticeably.

Percentage conversion
UCP transcripts emphasise CGPA. Request an official GPA verification letter from the registrar for employers or embassies — informal CGPA × 25 estimates are not UCP-certified.
