What GTU students should know
Theory and practical SPI both count. Do not mix GTU CPI with a CBSE table on PSU forms.

GTU grading system
GTU affiliated BE programmes generally use O/A+/A on a 10-point scale.
The math behind semester GPA and cumulative CGPA is the same across most universities — see our CGPA formula guide for a worked example. For broader planning tips, read the complete CGPA guide on the homepage.
Percentage conversion
Percentage = (CGPA − 0.5) × 10. An 8.0 CPI is 75%, not 80%.
