How to use this calculator

  1. Open Semester GPA when you are working with one term only; choose CGPA (or cumulative CGPA) when several semesters are finished.
  2. Add each course grades with the credit units shown on your UI portal or registration slip.

UI grading system

Nigerian University CGPA (5.0 Scale) is what UI prints on most transcripts. The top band is A (5.00 points). A fail (F) usually counts as zero quality points until you pass the retake.
