About the PES CGPA calculator
Bangalore engineering university with 10-point SGPA/CGPA. Pick your courses, enter credits, and let the table handle grade points — the same boundaries PES lists in its handbook. Need a different campus? Browse the country hub linked below for neighbouring universities.
Spotted a wrong boundary? Send us your handbook link or browse the India university hub.
How to use this calculator
- Start with the courses you are sure about; you can add or remove rows as you go.
- Double-check credit hours — a 2-credit lab and a 3-credit theory course should not be averaged like equal weights.
- The grading table on this page mirrors 10.0 Scale (India). If a new handbook year changes boundaries, tell us via the contact form.
- Bookmark the page before exam season; it is faster than rebuilding the same spreadsheet every semester.
PES grading system
10-Point Grading Scale (India) is what PES prints on most transcripts. The top band is O (10.00 points). A fail (F) usually counts as zero quality points until you pass the retake.
The math behind semester GPA and cumulative CGPA is the same across most universities — see our CGPA formula guide for a worked example. For broader planning tips, read the complete CGPA guide on the homepage.
Percentage conversion
Your department might use ×9.5, ×10, (CGPA − 0.5)×10, or a state technical circular. The percentage tab is for planning; job forms usually want the CGPA printed on your transcript.
