About the NSUT CGPA calculator
Former NSIT — uses Delhi technical university 10-point grade points. If you study at NSUT, you already know how tedious it is to re-type every course into Excel before results drop — start here instead. When your official portal updates, compare side-by-side and trust the registrar if numbers differ.

How to use this calculator
- Start with the courses you are sure about; you can add or remove rows as you go.
- Double-check credit hours — a 2-credit lab and a 3-credit theory course should not be averaged like equal weights.
- The grading table on this page mirrors GGSIPU IPU. If a new handbook year changes boundaries, tell us via the contact form.
- Bookmark the page before exam season; it is faster than rebuilding the same spreadsheet every semester.
NSUT grading system
Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University Grading System is what NSUT prints on most transcripts. The top band is O (10.00 points). A fail (F) usually counts as zero quality points until you pass the retake.
The math behind semester GPA and cumulative CGPA is the same across most universities — see our CGPA formula guide for a worked example. For broader planning tips, read the complete CGPA guide on the homepage.
Percentage conversion
Your department might use ×9.5, ×10, (CGPA − 0.5)×10, or a state technical circular. The percentage tab is for planning; job forms usually want the CGPA printed on your transcript.
